Slating

We have several NVQ qualified slating installers here at Clark And Son. This particular job was on a wind farm, it was the main building that housed all of the electronic computers for 9 turbines. First the breathable felt membrane was installed followed by treated grade A battens to ensure longevity in the roof. We sourced a Siga 32 slate which we found very reliable and strong which will last a great number of years using copper nails. Maintenance free was key so a dry verge and dry ridge system was also installed, the quality of workmanship we provided shows in the outcome
